The embroidered bird is ...It just dawned on me .... The embroidered bird is the SAME as the bird on your header. Boy, I am slipping.
It is so foggy today on the mountain that getting down to the farmer's market in the valley is going to be a trick - I can't even see my car in the driveway. If all goes well, I will come home and post (shocker, I know). Fingers crossed.
CarolinaThe Muse of The Dayhttp://www.themuseoftheday.typepad.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6199407921280875895.post-67927880677002270742012-04-14T04:57:40.435-07:002012-04-14T04:57:40.435-07:00I think yours turned out better than the one in th...I think yours turned out better than the one in the magazine. The tummy part on theirs competes with rest of the bird. My eyes seem to get confused with the pattern on their fabric choice. I liked how yours turned out, I especially love that it is a bird - it says "Alicia" all over it. I don't get why you have to iron it. ??? It looks good to me. I also think the clasp part appears to be working fine, too. I know I have been MIA, I see you have been busy this spring. The baby sweater and the felt shoes turned out great. I think there is nothing better than a handmade baby sweater. Holding one makes me think of the the words : love, caring, motherhood, and precious. I don't know where you found the time to get all these projects done, but I am glad you did and that you posted them.
CarolinaThe Muse of The Dayhttp://www.themuseoftheday.typepad.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6199407921280875895.post-35163947987619106742012-03-26T10:35:30.302-07:002012-03-26T10:35:30.302-07:00Ironing or not, I think it turned out charmingly! ...Ironing or not, I think it turned out charmingly! Improvisation is one of the most important skills a sewist/crafter/quilter/etc. can have in their tool box.Melissa Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11737872001702010167noreply@blogger.com
