Fall Sketchbook

This is my new format for doing one painting each day. I have been pressed for time lately, so I have switched to a watercolor sketchbook and hope to complete a tiny square each day instead of a whole painting.
This is my palette, and it makes me very happy. I love all those cheerful wells of color just waiting to seize the day. My favorite brush is a Grumbacher no. 8 round, made from squirrel. Sable is supposed to be the best and I own many, many brushes including sable, but I have never found a brush I like better than this little guy. My paints are by Winsor and Newton, artist quality.

I would love to see wall paper like that, or maybe tiles. No. Let's make it FABRIC so I can make a great looking market bag. The page looks gorgeous. I think it is a great idea to paint it in pieces - you get the feeling of accomplishment, your kids are still fed, AND I get to see the results.
I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but writing the names of the paints in sharpie right on your palette is such a clever idea.
My only hope is that the next seven days wiz by while I sleep tonight so that when I boot up my computer tomorrow morning, I am greeted by another one of your pages. Carolina
